The American Institute of Architects requires licensed architects to earn continuing education credits each year to fulfill membership requirements and/or renew a license.

As an AIA Continuing Education provider, the Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture hosts an annual Continuing Education event that offers a collection of courses, inviting all architects registered in the state of Alabama to participate.

This year’s event was moved to a virtual format due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which required a digital campaign—comprised of social media and email deliverables—that could clearly and concisely communicate details on the event and speakers.

Six courses, presented by seven speakers, required individual Facebook posts and a multi-slide Instagram story. Posts and stories were also used to provide reminders about registration and live streaming. Those who received an email were provided with links to each speaker’s bio, the Facebook event, and registration.
