Each October, The College of Architecture, Design and Construction hosts an awards banquet to celebrate the success of the College’s faculty, staff, and students. While an invitation is created, most deliverables are materials for the day of the event: a program and presentation to guide guests through the evening’s awards ceremony, table numbers to direct guests to their table and/or seat, and signage to thank those sponsors who make possible the event and the work and outreach of CADC.
By utilizing a high contrast, modern serif and a bold, semi-wide sans serif, the 2019 Banquet’s identity styled itself as a mix of the formality of traditional academia and the modernity of design education.
